Replication

The replication feature, or offsite archiving, enables you to forward the events to an external logging provider.

Doing that ensures you have a full copy of the event log outside of the WordPress installation.

This is not only a great way to back up the event data, but it also adds a security layer against malicious actors that alter the WP Admin Audit data (directly in the database) after the events are recorded.

WP Admin Audit will, as soon as a new event is recorded, mirror the event to the active external logging services.

Replication Targets / Supported services

Currently, the following logging third-party providers are supported as external databases:

  • Loggly
  • BetterStack (formerly known as Logtail)

You have the option to use one or multiple of the services for your external event log mirror database.
